YOGA
Some of the benefits of yoga include reduced stress (which is the root cause of many diseases); reduced anxiety and depression; chronic pain is lessened; flexibility, mobility, balance, and strength all increase; range of motion increases; high blood pressure is lowered closer to normal ranges; prevents effects of aging like falling, osteoporosis, arthritis, feeling poor, etc.; can be used for weight loss and general fitness; strengthens the spine, joints, lungs, heart, digestive system, and muscles; can be used to help treat many illnesses/conditions such as constipation, diabetes, and indigestion; improves the immune system; can reduce lower back pain and sciatica; and is a great preventative medicine. Yoga benefits not only every part of the body, but it also benefits the mind. And if used in conjunction with diet, meditation, and breathing practices, it can transform your life.
